Freepik is a website for vector graphics and free stock photos. The website offers free graphics for download in EPS, SVG, AI and PNG formats. The site is frequently updated with a new set of graphics which can be used by the client. Freepik was originally created in 2008 as a personal project from Alberto Ferrari, who wanted to create a freely distributed platform where people could find great icons and vector graphics without copyright restrictions. The site was later turned into an open-source project and it’s now managed by Creative Commons. The site offers both free stock photos and illustrations which can be downloaded in EPS, SVG or AI formats as well as PNG images with transparent backgrounds.
